A decorative lamp with an elegant basic design is turned that illuminates when you are in the area. It lights up without the need to look for a switch. All parts can be turned out of 1” stock. The options to pierce the lamp screen for the light to come through are only limited by your imagination. The turning project has been featured in the February issue of the AAW American Woodturner, p 22. There will be novel aspects of turning techniques, of mounting and connecting wood, and of working with LED’s and motion sensors. Find outline here.
This demo or class is intended for turners with some turning experience however there will be tips for all levels of experience. Count 2 days for this class.
